NorLand Limited Named Pinnacle Partner for Childhood Safety by CKNW Orphans' Fund

NorLand Limited is proud to announce that it has been named a Pinnacle Partner for Childhood Safety by the CKNW Orphans’ Fund.

NorLand Limited has donated over $195,000 to the CKNW Orphans’ Fund over the last 20 years and is pleased to donate an additional $40,000 towards childhood safety.  Over the last several years, CKNW Orphans’ Fund has seen an increase in the amount of applications for safety and security measures for children with mental, physical or social challenges.  This donation will allow the charity to respond quickly and effectively in providing safety equipment and mechanisms for special needs children from low income families.

Brooks Patterson, Safety Manager for NorLand Limited says, “Health and safety is a fundamental part of who we are at NorLand Limited, so when the CKNW Orphans’ Fund approached us about helping fund safer environments for children with physical, mental and social challenges, we wanted to do everything we could to help. It is a great cause and we are proud to be able to give back to B.C. communities through the CKNW Orphans’ Fund.”

Patterson presented a cheque for $40,000 on behalf of NorLand Limited at the 39th Annual CKNW Orphans’ Fund Pledge Day on Wednesday, December 2nd at Terminal City Club.
