This week, Apex and Pro-Tech participated in the Meals for Truckers Initiative. The purpose is to provide meals for drivers since many restaurants remain closed due to COVID-19 and there is limited access to food. This initiative is also intended to support the food truck industry. Apex and Pro-Tech were able to provide 65 meals at a local location.
Thank you to Alison Dunne for organizing this event!
The #LunchBoxChallenge started at the end of March 2020 to support local restaurants as well as providing a delicious lunch for the construction industry’s front- line workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The idea is to pay for the crew’s lunch to show our support for their hard work and dedication to their team, our company, and the economy, as they are working to support more than just themselves.

On March 3rd, our Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Committee (EDI) attended the Canadian Construction Women (CCW) Annual General Meeting (AGM). We also sponsored of bursaries that were presented at the AGM to four women studying in various areas, ranging from UBC Engineering, UA Piping Industry College of BC, and BCIT School of Construction and the Environment.

Apex and Pro-Tech (once again) adopted a street to help take care of their community! They strive to become better each year, aiming for more volunteers to come out and help clean their streets. Apex and Pro-Tech value their team's passion for helping their business become more successful - not just with revenue, but in terms of kindness and meaningful impact, too! Many of the Apex and Pro-Tech team members had the opportunity to learn about B-Corp, and the team is proud to say that they are all "change agents" for their business.
