Pandora Co-Live
Located at the corner of Pandora Avenue and Vancouver Street, this first-of-its-kind offering will feature co-living suites alongside 1 and 2-bedroom rental homes. Western Grater began the Pandora project called the Co-Live in June of 2022 by drilling soldier piles for shoring and began Shotcrete shoring and excavation in November of 2022. Following a new-to-us design provided by Geo-Pacific engineering, H-Piles coupled with an I-beam whaler were used in conjunction with evo tie back anchors WGC was able to complete this project in record time.

Scope of work
The Pandora project consisted of multiple scopes of work for western grater including blasting, shotcrete shoring and tie-back anchors. The shotcrete shoring system consisted of H piles drilled in from the surface, horizontal whaler beams and tie-back anchors to further support the vertical shotcrete wall. Traditional blasting methods were used to complete excavation to the desired depth.
