Slew Bearing Replacement

Prince Rupert Grain hired LNS to replace the slew bearing on one of their ship loaders. LNS worked with PRG and a structural engineering firm to develop a detailed design and procedure to support and jack the machine allowing for the 11’ diameter bearing to be replaced. This is a good example of a very specialized and technically challenging project that LNS successfully completed within a scheduled maintenance shutdown.
