Senior Management
Vice President
Vince Alvernaz has over 32 years of construction experience, with 24 of those years dedicated to the demolition industry. He is experienced in multi-story building demolition involving implosions as well as conventional demolition. Vince has been involved in numerous demolition projects taking place in highly sensitive areas such as operating plants and over waterways requiring extensive environmental protection. He is extremely proficient in selective building demolitions which include heritage protection, preservation and seismic upgrades. With his many years of experience, Vince brings creative and cost-effective solutions to every project.
Dan Gaudette
Assistant General Manager / Senior Estimator
Dan Gaudette has been in the construction industry for over 26 years with 18 of those years dedicated to the demolition industry. During this time he has gained a tremendous amount of experience in all facets of the demolition industry. He has extensive experience in large-scale commercial shopping centre strip-outs, selective engineered demolition & large structural demolition works. His dedication to the demolition industry makes Dan a very important & valued member of our demolition team.
Rob Violeau
Safety & Operations Manager
Rob Violeau has over 12 years of experience with safety, risk and manpower management on a wide variety of demolition projects. His attention to detail and dedication to Pacific Demolition’s crews have helped the company achieve outstanding safety performances on the most challenging of projects. Rob’s common sense and proactive approach have allowed him to gain the respect of his crews while ensuring Pacific Demolition exceeds the requirements of provincial and federal safety authorities and client-specific safe work policies.
Todd Carbone
Assistant General Manager Alberta
Todd Carbone has been in the construction industry for over 7 years, with over 6 years of experience dedicated to commercial and industrial demolition. Prior to joining our Pacific Demolition, Todd completed the demolition and reclamation of a uranium mine in northern Saskatchewan and earned the designation of Radiation Safety Officer. Todd also has an extensive background in steel sales, management and recycling.

Concrete Cutting & Coring Manager
Darryl Farr has over 25 years of experience on a wide range of commercial, institutional and industrial concrete cutting and demolition projects of all sizes and scopes. He is involved in projects from initial estimating through to completion. Darryl’s dedication to customers, organizational skills, attention to detail and adaptability make him a valued member of our team.
John Clarke, B.Sc. Hons., P.Eng.
Senior Estimator / Project Manager
John Clarke has over 23 years of experience managing complex remediation projects including site decommissioning, barrier wall installation, contaminated soil excavation/shoring, landfill capping, sediment and lagoon remediation, building demolition, disposal of contaminated soils, lead and asbestos abatement, engineered water storage/treatment pond construction and water treatment system operation.
Chris Kieswetter, P. Eng.
Estimator / Project Manager
Chris Kieswetter has over 26 years of experience in construction, including 24 years in the BC demolition industry. He is experienced with a wide variety of demolition and deconstruction projects involving bridges, seismic structural upgrades to high-rises and heritage buildings, large-scale industrial sites, multi-storey wood-frame and concrete buildings as well as timber salvage. Chris demonstrates his dedication to safety and sustainability by taking an active role in the development of engineered procedures and ensuring that maximum efforts are taken to meet and exceed LEED goals.
Ryan Livingstone
Estimator / Project Manager
Ryan Livingstone has been in the demolition industry since 2000, including 3 years of concrete cutting. He brings a wealth of knowledge from his experience demolishing a control tower at a busy international airport, a broadcast facility at a world-class convention center and working on the Olympic Village for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Ryan’s experience working in highly sensitive/secure areas makes him a valuable member of our team.
Geoff Smith
Divisional HSE Coordinator
Geoff Smith has been involved in project health and safety management for Pacific Blasting & Demolition for over 14 years. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every project. Geoff’s numerous certifications, attention to detail and dedication to his crews have helped Pacific Demolition meet and exceed safety requirements on the most challenging of projects. Geoff’s common sense and no-nonsense approach have allowed him to gain the respect of his crews while ensuring Pacific Demolition exceeds the requirements of our customers and local safety authorities.

Bidding & Estimating Coordinator
Kevin Simmonds has over 15 years of experience coordinating bids and projects of all sizes and complexities. His prior experience with industrial construction and technical writing provides a valuable foundation of experience and knowledge that he brings to every demolition project. Kevin’s detail-orientated management style and creative solutions make him a valuable member of our team.

Divisional Controller
Tatyana Minkova has been the Divisional Controller for our Demolition Division since 2011. She has been employed in accounting and administration in the construction industry since 2005.

Estimator / Project Manager
Rian Venter has over 10 years of professional employment in the demolition industry with extensive experience that includes the demolition of heavy industrial structures and plants, as well as mechanical demolition of commercial concrete structures and the remediation/rehabilitation of mine sites.
Josh Williams
Estimator / Project Manager
Josh Williams has worked in the demolition industry for over 12 years, progressing from Foreman to Estimator / Project Manager. He has experience in large-scale industrial, oil & gas and commercial-based project management in Canada. His dedication to the demolition industry makes Josh an important and valued member of the Pacific Demolition team.
Brenda Lazzarotto
NCSO / COR Auditor / RSO
Brenda Lazzarotto has an extensive background in healthcare, having worked in clinics and hospitals in BC and Alberta. She built her demolition experience working for Envirocon Environmental Services for almost 3 years. Brenda is our NCSO and a trained Safety Auditor and has been the Safety Lead for our Alberta operations since 2020. She has been instrumental in continuing to maintain our COR Certificate. Brenda recently completed the Radiation Safety Officer program and is a certified RSO.
