Mini Rig Drilling
We work closely with experienced subcontractors who come in after we complete our initial lift of shotcrete to perform aesthetically pleasing architectural finishes.
Excavator-Mounted Drilling
Excavator-mounted drills are highly effective for drilling in hard-to-reach places. These drills are primarily used to drill tie-backs using a high-powered percussion head. They can also be equipped to drill using cased methods as required. The units can be mounted on a variety of excavator carriers to suit individual project requirements.
Low Headroom Micropiling
Similar to our fleet of mini rigs, our low headroom rigs can access restricted work areas. These rigs come with more power, options and capability. They can drill bigger diameters and deeper depths, similar to their full-size counterparts. The mid-size rig pictured here is equipped to install casing up to 14 inch diameter within an overhead restriction of 13 feet.
Tie Backs
Our diverse fleet of equipment is capable of installing tie backs or soil nails to any retaining wall.

Anchor Testing and Lockoff
We own, maintain, and regularly calibrate high quality anchor testing equipment which can be tailored to meet specific job requirements. We have experience and knowledge to perform proof, performance, design, or verification tests to meet the requirements of the following standards:
- PTI DC3531-14 – Post Tensioning Institute – Recommendations for Prestressed Rock and Soil Anchors
- FHWA NHI-05-039 — Federal Highway Administration – Micropile Design and Construction
- Canadian Geotechnical Society – Canadian Foundation Engineering Manual
Micropiles
Micropiles are used in tension or compression to support foundations. Commonly utilized for seismic retrofits of existing structures or where restricted access limits the use of larger piling equipment. Micropiles, depending on ground conditions and performance specifications, may utilize any of the following techniques:

Standard Micropiles can be installed at diameters from 3 to 10 inches and beyond, with a design load of up to 350 tons.

Contaminated Sites Remediation
BelPacific has experience removing from our excavation sites contaminated soils up to and including hazardous waste in addition to soils contaminated with leachable metals, PCBs, hydrocarbons, Japanese knotweed and Japanese beetle. Our partnerships with local environmental consultants enable us to remain compliant with ever-changing regulations.
Marine Transportation
BelPacific operates a marine transportation loading facility strategically located to service jobs in the City of Vancouver and beyond. Our service offerings include Disposal At Sea in accordance with Environment and Climate Change (ECCC) and Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) regulations and transportation to marine facilities for upland transfer.
Landfill Management
BelPacific has experience operating fill sites for private landowners and developers. Our strategically located fill sites allow us to bid excavation work competitively and provide disposal options for our third-party partners. We adhere strictly to regulations set forth in the BC Environmental Management Act (EMA), the BC Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy (ENV), and the Contaminated Sites Regulation(CSR).
