Nozzleperson – Shotcrete

Are you an experienced Nozzleperson looking for your next opportunity? We are looking for dedicated members to expand our team as a Shotcrete Nozzleperson. Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting various deep excavation and shotcrete projects throughout the Lower Mainland.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality shotcrete application expertise on various challenging projects
• Ensuring all areas to receive shotcrete are clean, sound, and free of loose material
• Coordinating the application of shotcrete with the shoring crew
• Always working safely and respectfully on NorLand and client job sites
• Operating as a productive member of a high-functioning team

What we are looking for:

• Experience with shoring methods and on a shoring site (Able to tie steel & mesh/Nozzle Wet Shotcrete)
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of proper shotcrete equipment setup
• ACI certified (ACI CP-60) an asset
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and be fit to work
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and in deep excavations
• A valid BC Driver’s license is considered an asset
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing

This is a Unionized position with LiUNA  Local 1611 Construction and Specialized Worker’s Union. This position will earn Union wages and will have access to extended Union healthcare and benefits, a Union-sponsored pension plan, and additional training through the Training Plan.

Expected hourly rate: Unionized wage range for this position is $34.76-$43.81per hour (based on candidate’s experience. Additional holiday pay between 10-12%.
