Baffinland Mine Development

Drilling & Blasting

Glacier Blasting & Shoring was contracted for an iron mine development on Baffin Island, Nunavut. The project entailed constructing a 100km tote road between the mine and the shipping port. Three drill rigs, transported from Yellowknife by Hercules transport planes, operated 24/7 throughout the project.
