Goldstream Suspension Bridge
In the summer of 2016, Copcan was the successful tenderer for the construction of the Goldstream Suspension Bridge, near Victoria. The suspension bridge spanned 41 meters, approximately 6 meters above the Goldstream River, and forms an integral part of the The Great Trail (Trans Canada Trail). Cast-in-place concrete abutments were anchored into bedrock at each end of the bridge for support.
