Glacier Blasting was contracted for a multi-phase infrastructure project in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, near Itivia Harbour. Phase I involved constructing a tank farm and a laydown area, while Phase II focused on improving an existing granite quarry. Despite 24/7 drilling and loading near the local airport, the project proceeded without delays to airport traffic. The design minimized community traffic and employed local workers. The project was completed safely, adhering to all local regulations.
