NorLand Limited is proud to be featured on News Talk 980 CKNW in support of the CKNW Orphans' Fund.  As the charity's first Pinnacle Partner for Childhood Safety, NorLand Limited is helping to improve the health and well being of children throughout British Columbia.  By investing in the lives of children and families, NorLand Limited is making an investment in our future.

In December of 2015, NorLand Limited pledged $40,000 in support of the CKNW Orphans' Fund and was named the charity's first "Pinnacle Partner for Childhood Safety".  Today, NorLand Limited was pleased to present a cheque for $40,000.

NorLand Limited's donation will help provide safety equipment and mechanisms for special needs children from low income families.  The funding will also allow the CKNW Orphans' Fund to respond quickly and effectively to a recent increase in applications and provide vulnerable children and their families with the specific help they need.

NorLand Limited is proud to announce that Brooks Patterson has been promoted from Safety Manager to Vice President, HSE & Loss Prevention.  This promotion will provide clarity to the chain of command for Health, Safety, and the Environment at NorLand Limited both to our customers as well as our internal stakeholders.  With the continued expansion of NorLand Limited, and focus on safety as a core value, Brooks will be relied upon to provide guidance and mentorship to all levels of the organization.

Apex Specialized Rigging & Moving recently completed the delivery of two 80,000 kg generators to a remote run of river site near Pemberton, BC.  Due to the infrastructure in the area, multiple modes of transport were needed to get the equipment safely to site.

On Saturday April 4, 2015 Pacific Blasting & Demolition Ltd. helped the Artificial Reef Society of British Columbia (ARSBC) create valuable habitat and a dive attraction designed for all skill levels with the sinking of the HMCS Annapolis. 

Apex Specialized Rigging and Moving recently delivered 7 transformers to 4 different substations spread out over 1,200km in British Columbia.  The transformers all arrived on the same ship in North Vancouver.  Apex received them directly from a barge, as they were too large to leave the port by road without having to perform bridge studies.
