TFE recently signed a service partner agreement with BAUER-Pileco Inc. to provide after sales parts and service for BAUER equipment throughout western Canada.

Last week LNS Services completed its second of three shutdowns for Covanta at its Waste-Energy Facility in Burnaby. Covanta's site had three boiler hopper systems in need of maintenance this year, each to be repaired independently. In March, LNS completed repairs on the first of these systems, and earlier this month began repairs on the second system. The shutdown was completed successfully and a representative from Covanta sent a note to LNS management stating the following:

Paul has been the CEO of NorLand since July 2023. His appointment as CEO comes after serving as NorLand’s Senior VP of Infrastructure since 2017. He brings over 25 years of construction, heavy civil and environmental industry experience, including a diverse background in operations, project management, business management and finance. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia, and he is a Certified Management Accountant.
Last week, Global News ran a short segment marking the completion of the Fairview Terminals Phase II Expansion Project in Prince Rupert. The two-year project was managed and completed by joint venture partners BEL Contracting and FRPD, along with Kingston Construction, for the owner DP World.
Pinnacle is pleased to announce that Stephane Lavoie will be joining the Pinnacle Drilling Products Team as its Regional Sales Manager for Eastern Canada.
On August 31st, John Warner, a 17-year employee with BEL Contracting, will retire. John’s held a variety of roles with the company over the years – including Project Manager, Estimator, Design Build Consultant, Claims Preparation and Field Supervisor – as well as acted as a Health & Safety Representative and alternate for Manager’s Meetings.
NorLand is pleased to announce that Paul Halliday has joined the NorLand Limited family as Senior Vice President – Infrastructure. Paul comes to NorLand most recently from Envirocon Environmental Services, ULC where he served as President & CEO, overseeing operations across Canada – he has been based out of the Vancouver office and worked closely with Envirocon’s offices in Edmonton and Calgary.
